On Monday 17th July, Martin visited Wyke Farms near Bruton and met with managing director Rich Clothier. Rich represents the third-generation of the Clothiers, who have been making cheddar on their farm since 1861. Wyke Farms was the first UK grocery brand to be 100% self-sufficient in self-generated green gas and electricity. It’s now one of the largest independent green energy generators in the UK, largely from farm and dairy wastes. Thanks for showing us around, Wyke Farms!
